For the uninitiated – Sew Hungry takes place every year in Hamilton’s fashion district on Ottawa Street. And while the strip has already made history as the largest Fabric and Textile District in Canada and Hamilton’s #1 tourist destination – with Sew Hungry the Ottawa Street BIA is doing it again. Over the three short years that the festival has operated it has morphed into a national, award-winning restaurant and food truck rally. From 22 food trucks in attendance in 2013 to 55 in 2014 – we can tell this isn’t an event that will be rolling out of town anytime soon.
