David slices & dices

Double Barrel editor David Capizzano got his hands on an old Pentax K1000 analog film camera, and never looked back. Since then, his interest and passion for all aspects of production have blossomed into a professional career.

David attended Mohawk College for Advertising and Marketing Communications Management, with a focus on Art Direction where he learned the ins and outs of the Advertising Process. After picking up a Student Merit Award at the One Show, he went on to intern at Bensimon Byrne in the production department working for clients including Scotiabank, Nestle, The Toronto Argonauts, and Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream.

When not fussing over edits, colour transfers and focal lengths, you can usually find David tending to his balcony garden, digging through city building permits, or waging an internal war over which new restaurant to try next.
