About This Project

Facing the challenges of rapid population growth and climate change, Toronto has embarked on an ambitious journey to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. As a vibrant, world-class city, Toronto’s commitment to sustainability is crucial for its continued growth and health.

To support this mission, Double Barrel crafted a public awareness piece for the City of Toronto’s community outreach efforts. Collaborating with the Environment & Climate team, we scripted a compelling storyline and interviewed thought leaders, highlighting the city’s strategic initiatives and encouraging public action to reduce emissions. Despite weathering blizzards, our team filmed across Toronto, creating engaging animated sequences and graphics that align with the city’s branding while adding entertainment value.
