Hélène Caron is a francophone with over 20 years experience in translation and voice-overs, including Québec/Ontario cultural contextualization. After a successful 10-year corporate career, she started her own French services consulting firm while earning her M.A. (French); she is currently in her last year of her PhD (French) at McMaster University. Her clients include MADD Canada, Ontario Ministry of Education, Parks Canada, Neurozone, Pantene, Manulife, Yamaha, Air Canada and Deloitte.

She is actively involved in supporting francophone communities in minority situations through her volunteering with francophone organizations in Hamilton (for ex. In 2020, in recognition for her exceptional contributions to the vitality of the French language in Ontario, she was one of six province-wide recipients for the title of “Chevalier” of the Ordre de la Pléiade awarded by the Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie, a worldwide organization based in Paris, France.
